Lifelong learners and students in class at sea!
Lifelong Learners are non-student adults who sail as part of every Semester at Sea voyage. Retirees, professionals on leave, or simply adventurous travelers, they are respected for their expertise and insights. Lifelong learners audit undergraduate courses, attend field excursions, serve as mentors to undergraduates, and add a valuable generational element to class discussions.
For those with a passion for world travel, a love of learning, and a thirst for cross–cultural connections, the Semester at Sea Lifelong Learning Program provides an unparalleled experience. It enables adults to travel with the ship and participate in classes around the world.
A special promotion for the spring 2010 has just been announced.Lifelong Learners who confirm an inside or outside stateroom for the Spring 2010 voyage at the single rate may bring a second person to share their cabin at no additional cost. If you are traveling alone and want to take advantage of this offer: the semester at sea’s office maintains a “roommate list” for those looking for a cabin-mate. Partial sailings are also available.
